Chemical Spill

This photo is from a chemical spill that occurred at a manufacturing facility in Tennessee in 2012. The spilled transfer fluid reached a nearby creek. A series of boom was staged in the creek and contaminated debris was manually skimmed from the surface. Some soil remediation was also necessary. More than 5 tons of debris and 9,000 gallons of contaminated water were removed from the site for proper disposal. All spilled waste was recovered and the site was appropriately restored.
